Some kids love the idea of things like making fake tarps out of newspapers and using them to make a makeshift tent or something of the sort.Other kids will come up with some very humorous stuff. Many students enjoy this type of thing because it allows them to show off what they know and build on those experiences. Because these children already have this experience with the class, they will have no problem making funny things.It's great for kids to have a good laugh together, but there are some students who prefer to keep their humor to themselves. If this is the c ase, perhaps you could let your child do something similar, but let them use something as an adult might use adult-appropriate materials.Music is a good way to release any tensions that may be built up over the course of the day. Some students love jazz and others love to sing, so if you have music readily available in the classroom, it's a great way to bring the two types of kids together.What about if you have a teacher's party? For younger students, you could set the whole place on fire, or maybe we could just give everyone an elephant.Regardless of the options you choose, you need to make sure that the activity you are going to have is both exciting and educational at the same time. You don't want to overdo it and end up with a bunch of bored kids.So you see, it is all a matter of finding a funny way to make your child feel that they belong.
